Director of Art History with Museum Studies and Faculty Fellow in the Department of Theatre Studies and Fine Arts at Niagara University. Ms. Granfield served as Curator of Education at the Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University for the past nine years and has over twenty-five years of professional experience in the field of Fine Arts including past Director of the Art Department and Singer Gallery at the Robert E. Loup Jewish Community Center of Denver, Colorado, now the Mizel Arts and Culture Center, where she also served for three years as the Acting Director of the Schwayder Theatre. She received her M.A. in Art History with Museum Studies from the University of Denver and her B.A. in Fine Arts from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA. Prof. Granfield has taught courses in Art History at Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, CO, Metropolitan State University, Denver, CO, and presently teaches Prehistoric to Gothic Art, 14th - 19th Century Art, 19th Century Art, 20th Century Art, Introduction to Museum Studies and the Educational Role of Museums at Niagara University.
