Getting Started with WordPress

Are you interested in using WordPress to start your own blog or create your own website?
This workshop will cover all the basics from setting up a site on WordPress.com (or you can use an installed version on your own hosting service) and choosing a theme for the right look for your site to adding text, images and video. You will learn how to manage comments from site vistors, add new users and set permissions as well as work with sidebar Widgets. This workshop covers features that are managed through the WordPress interface and does not require coding or web design skills so you can be up and running in no time. No prior experience with WordPress is needed, but student should have basic computer skills and experience using a web browser. Space is limited.
