Compassionate Grit

Tuesday, February 17, at 6 p.m. in our Wellness Space

Come in and explore ways in which to increase your motivation while not being too hard on yourself! Contact our office for more details. 


The Kiernan Center and Counseling Services are hosting snowshoeing twice each week during the month of February. Meet us on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:45 p.m. for an hour-long trek along our new nature path! Beat the winter blues by embracing winter - don't avoid it! You will get a great workout and invigorate your mind. Contact our office for more details.


Find some time to join us in our Wellness Space to practice meditation. We will meet bi-weekly during the semester to learn and practice meditation. Meditation is an ancient art of increasing awareness while freeing the mind of the things that keep it cluttered.

Gentle morning and afternoon yoga will be offered in our Wellness Space throughout the semester. Class size is limited due to our space, however grab a small group of friends and contact Monica Romeo (mromeo@niagara.edu) to schedule. Morning yoga entails the use of specific poses to increase energy and focus. Afternoon yoga utilizes other poses to let go of the challenges of the day.
