Administrative Assistant to the Dean

Office Location:
St. Vincent's Hall, Room 421

Born and raised and still residing in Lewiston, Wendy is thrilled to be a part of the Niagara University community. She earned an Associate Degree in Informational Processing Secretarial from Bryant & Stratton Business Institute in Williamsville, New York.

Directly out of college she was hired at Metropolitan Insurance Company in Niagara Falls where she was employed as a customer service representative for eleven years.  After taking some time off to raise her family, she worked part time at The Keller Group in Niagara Falls and then at RealtyUSA in Lewiston, again in a secretarial role.

In the fall of 2008 she started at Niagara University as an Academic Assistant in the College of Education for the Ontario Education Programs. She coordinated bi-national communication beginning with the application processing, throughout teacher and student course scheduling, and tracking of the program until commencement.  After almost five years she was promoted to Administrative Assistant to the Dean where she learned more of the University’s administrative functions for a year and a half.

In June of 2014 she joined the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management to fill the Administrative Assistant to the Dean position. Wendy enjoys overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day and semester-to-semester functions within the College and maintaining University-wide communication. Working with faculty, staff, and administration she genuinely strives to ensure that students have a meaningful experience while in their program here at Niagara University.
