Housing Fees and Deposits
Housing Costs for 2014-2015
- Apartment - $9,870 per academic year
- Double/Triple room - Residence Hall: $11,950 per academic year
- Single room — Residence Hall: $12,900 per academic year
Deposits — Students who want to participate in room selection are required to pay a $300 housing deposit in order to secure their room for fall. It is strongly advised that students pay the $300 deposit prior to April 15, 2014, the first night of room selection. Students can participate in room selection and choose a room without the housing deposit, but their room assignment will not be confirmed until their housing deposit is paid.
Students who want to pay their $300 housing deposit can do so by clicking here or by going to the Student Accounts website at www.niagara.edu/accounts and click on “Payments” and then on “Pay Housing Deposit.”
*Students currently living in the apartments who wish to live on campus next year will have $400 of their damage deposit refunded to them — with written permission to the Student Accounts Office, $300 will go towards their room deposit for next year, and the remaining $100 will either be refunded, or be put toward the total cost of their room. The final $100 of the original $500 damage deposit will remain on your account until you have withdrawn from Residence Life or graduated, and would only be refunded once damages are assessed.
