Ms. Nanette Harmon
Faculty Fellow. Coordinator of ASL and Deaf Studies.
Nanette Harmon brings over 30 years of teaching experience to the ASL and Deaf Studies program. In addition to her love for the unique language, she is passionate about Deafness as culture. As Coordinator of the program she organizes the Deaf Speak series, arranges on and off-campus activities and advises students who are interested in pursuing the ASL and Deaf Studies minor/Liberal Arts major. Students in search of extra ASL practice will find her in Gally at Tim Hortons. These unofficial "Sit, Sip and Sign" events have become a standard.
