Things to Do

On our campus, you can visit the Gallagher Center, which features a student union downstairs and Division I basketball upstairs; the Kiernan Center, our all-in-one recreation complex that features workout equipment, a swimming pool, racquetball and basketball courts, and more; as well as the Castellani Art Museum (free); and our library and computer lab (using the same swipe card that you access for your apartment).

Within a short walk of Monteagle Ridge is the Niagara Power Vista (open daily 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.), which offers more than 50 interactive exhibits on hydroelectricity and its role in shaping the Niagara Frontier; Devil's Hole State Park; and the Niagara River Gorge.

Just a few minutes north of NU in Lewiston is where you'll find Artpark, Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours and a plethora of great restaurants, cozy coffee shops and small-town stores. Visit for more info.

To the south is the Aquarium of Niagara and Niagara Falls State Park, home to the Maid of the Mist and the Cave of the Winds.
