A member of the Office of Communications and Public Relations since 1998, Jean provides secretarial services for the public relations office and oversees the departmental student aides. Her responsibilities include the annual update of the university telephone directory, creating commencement programs, the preparation and distribution of the bi-annual Speakers Bureau and Information Resource Directory and handling the coordination of large mailings including Christmas cards, the “On Campus” newsletter and the “Eagle” magazine. Jean assists in distribution of brochures, death notices, press releases and citations. She compiles and maintains newspaper clippings for daily and monthly distribution.

Jean also prepares and distributes dean’s list, honor releases and commencement lists to student’s hometown newspapers, while continually updating public relations mailing lists.
