Mr. McMann serves as the Facility Planner and Co-Chair of the Sustainability Committee. Prior to joining NU, he was a Senior Project Manager/ Project Architect at BHNT Architects for 15 years with extensive project management and construction administration experience in commercial and residential projects with a focus on building energy efficiencies and sustainable design. He has been involved in a wide range of complex construction projects for both new and existing building renovations and redevelopment projects working with numerous local, state and federal agencies.
Mr. McMann is LEED AP certified professional with the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) and has managed projects that have been awarded LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) and NYSERDA Certifications. Mr. McMann holds a Master's of Architecture and Bachelor's of Professional Studies in Architecture degrees from University of Buffalo, as well as an Associates in Applied Sciences in Architectural Engineering degree from Alfred State College.
