The Niagara University Baseball team is pleased to announce our 8th Annual Niagara Baseball 1st Pitch Dinner! Once again, we will host the event in memoriam of Jeff Sgroi ’92, and sponsored by the Sgroi Family.
We invite you to join Niagara alumni, friends, family, fans, and the current team to celebrate the past, present, and future of Purple Eagles baseball at this year’s 1st Pitch Dinner. The event is Saturday, Jan. 27 at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 401 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls, N.Y., 14304. The reception starts at 5:30 p.m., with the dinner and program following at 7 p.m.
This year we have a remarkably special keynote speaker as we welcome back to the Ridge, Niagara Baseball alum and major leaguer, Wynton Bernard, ’12! Additional speakers include Niagara’s athletic director, Simon Gray; and head coach, Rob McCoy.
Tickets are $80 per adult, $45 per guest 21 and under, or $750 for a table of 10 (with the option to have two NU baseball players as guests), and include a two-hour open bar reception and dinner buffet. Please contact Rob McCoy or by phone 716-286-7361, with questions.
