Biography
Dr. Hu joined the faculty in the fall of 2020. Prior to joining Niagara University, Changjie was a lecturer at McGill and taught Financial Derivatives. He also holds a Professional Risk Manager (PRM) designation.
Focus of Teaching
At Niagara University, Dr. Hu has taught many finance courses, including financial management, financial corporate policy, international finance, valuation and financial modeling, research in finance, and fixed-income securities for both MS Finance and MBA students.
Current Research
Dr. Hu’s primary research interests lie in the areas of entrepreneurial finance, corporate disclosure, firm innovation, textual analysis, ESG, and topics related to empirical corporate finance in general.
