Biography

Joseph F. Winter, CPA, CFE, CITP joined Niagara University as an adjunct faculty member in Spring 2006, became an Assistant Professor of Accounting in Fall 2013 and Associate Professor of Accounting in Spring 2019. Extensive experience from a distinguished career in private industry and public accounting. Began career as an auditor at the Bonadio Group, CPA’s (Buffalo) and practices as a CPA for over 30 years. Accomplished track record as a Chief Financial Officer for companies engaged in health care, venture capital and economic development with notable skills regarding financial matters including fraud examination, financial statement reporting, tax, internal controls and negotiation skills.
