Biography
Dr. Wen Feng earned her Ph.D. from the University of Kansas in 2018. She was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Oklahoma State University for the 2019-2020 academic year. She worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts for the 2018-2019 academic year.
Current Research
Dr. Wen Feng’s primary research is focused on the stability of solitary wave solutions of nonlinear dispersive equations such as the Nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) and Klein-Gordon equations. The NLS equation arises in various physical contexts such as nonlinear optics and plasma physics. The fractional Schrödinger and fractional Klein-Gordon equations arise in a variety of models in quantum physics.
Dr. Feng is also working on problems in nonlinear partial differential equations coming from fluid dynamics. She is working on stability and long time behavior of steady solutions of Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) equations.
