Biography
After graduating with a Ph.D. in English from The Ohio State University in 1992, I accepted a professor position at New Mexico State University, where I taught until 2000. In 2001, I came to Niagara University, where I teach a variety of courses. My favorite topics are the literature of the American West, Old English, Dante, the Bible as Literature, and Comics/Graphic Novels. In addition to my work at Niagara University, I am an ordained Episcopal priest, and serve a small parish in Amherst.
Outside of work, I greatly enjoy music and my favorite activity is playing guitar, both by myself and in several bands.
