St. Vincent de Paul believed and lived the motto “totum opus nostrum in operatione consistit”—action is our entire task.
As a Catholic and Vincentian university, we also believe in the virtue of action. We recognize our responsibility to provide a student experience grounded in academic excellence, enhanced by innovative on-campus and off-campus opportunities, and guided by social justice to prepare our graduates to make an impact as global citizens. But we also recognize that our mission compels us to go beyond the campus and create partnerships that foster economic and social development in the local community, regionally, and around the world.
This is my vision for Niagara, and these stories share the ways we are taking action to make it happen.
