Carolyn Makey made her debut in the Academic Exploration Program (AEP) during the summer of 2010 as an advisor and an NUB 102 (Niagara University Beginnings) instructor.
Prior to AEP, Carolyn worked in the Niagara University Opportunity Program (NUOP) as the academic skills specialist since starting at NU in 2005. Her previous higher education experience includes graduate internships and volunteer positions with Buffalo State College and the University at Buffalo in the areas of advisement and health education and services. Throughout all of these opportunities, Carolyn has always enjoyed working directly with students and assisting them with their pursuit of higher education.
Carolyn received both her M.S. in student personnel administration and B.S. in English secondary education from SUNY College at Buffalo.
