Keirsten is an Administrative Assistant and the Box Office Supervisor for the Theatre Department. She also acts as the liaison to the Friends of Niagara University, the department’s Non-Profit Organization that helps fund scholarships, the NURT/TYA program, guest speakers, and continued updates throughout the department, through various events, including the Annual Gala. As an alumnus of the program, Keirsten is thrilled to support the future generations of NUTS in their many productions.
NU Theatre
Keirsten has served as Niagara University Theatre’s Box Office Supervisor since March of 2019, overseeing the patron-experience during the first ever virtual season, and the return to in-person audience viewing.
Professional Experience
Since graduation, Keirsten has continued her work in theatre, from The Entertainment Department of Walt Disney World in Florida, to the Gate Hill Players in the Hudson Valley, where she co-directed and designed multiple theatre for youth productions such as Jack’s Nightmare: A Holiday Heist, The Book of You, and Disney’s Descendants. Select WNY credits include: Into The Woods (Director/Costume Designer & Supervisor), Godspell (Director/Costume Designer) at NCCC; King John (Costume Designer) at The New Phoenix Theatre; 13 Players’ original and revival productions of It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play (Costume Designer). Keirsten also serves as 13 Players’ summer camp co-founder/specialist.
Current Projects/Research
Keirsten has been working diligently with her co-workers to implement an Alumni database that will connect past and future generations of NUTS, to encourage professional networking as well as fostering the continued support from the department well beyond graduation. Grant Application and Implementation for 13 Players, as well as the planning of their 2022 Theatre season.
