Summer Advisement

Summer Orientation is over – now what? You had fun, made new friends, and learned more about Niagara, but what are the next steps? What comes after SumO? 

It’s time to schedule a meeting to answer academic questions and understand your schedule.

What might be covered during meeting?

  • Questions you may have.
  • Potential transfer credit.
  • The academic calendar.
  • How to access your course content.
  • What to expect in the first week of classes.
  • How to get your books and /or educational materials.

What if I can’t attend my meeting?

  • You will receive an email confirmation when you schedule. In the email, you can select(NO), indicating that you are unable to attend and the meeting is automatically canceled.
  • You can also go to the calendar associated with the email you used to schedule. Click on the appointment noted on your calendar. Select NO at the bottom and the meeting will be canceled.
  • You can reschedule by selecting a new appointment through the QR code or link provided.

Health Forms

Before you embark on this exciting new chapter at NU, we want to make sure you’re all set for a healthy and successful start on campus.

Please submit completed health forms to Health Services by July 31. Late forms must be delivered to Health Services before the start of classes.

Additionally, all undergraduate students are automatically enrolled in student health insurance.

Early Move-In

If you deposit at Niagara by July 1, you will be eligible to be one of 50 students who can move in early on Aug. 22

This is a great opportunity to beat the hustle and bustle of Move-In Day, begin acclimating yourself to campus, and get your college adventure started early!
